The Foundation for Gender Equality in Health and Wellbeing is excited to support the Canadian Centre for Men and Families expansion of its life saving emergency residential facilities for fathers and children. The Foundation provided capital funds to acquire the charity’s second facility, a 10,000+ square foot apartment building in Calgary, Alberta, which has been operating since mid 2024. This Calgary building joins the charity’s existing emergency residential home in Toronto in offering an essential lifeline to fathers and children fleeing domestic violence, human trafficking and other high-risk situations.
